“I’ve dealt with bouts of depression on and off for many years.

I also have family and friends battling their own demons.

In those dark times, I’ve been very fortunate to surround myself with good, supportive people.

Over the years however, it’s my relationship with self that has evolved the most.  

A few years ago a friend recommended I do a course on mindfulness, and since then I have become more interested in its various forms and benefits. It seems to be a gradual process of becoming more aware of myself and my relationship to the world.  Today, meditation and gratefulness is a daily practice, and has allowed me to gently work through the darker moments, and really appreciate the good times.”
